Big Scary

I pimped Ubuntu to my last boss just the other day. We will refer to him as Big Scary. The reason why I call him that is because that is how many people refer to him. He's a very tall man, and he's not skinny or even thin. He's pretty well proportioned. No he's not fat. He's just well...big.

I went over to Big Scary's office just to say Hi and talk for a while. He's a total techie. He's constantly trying to stay up on what is new. So I was speaking with him about this site and all that I had planned for my future with this site.

So Big Scary started having questions about Ubuntu. I showed him some websites and he totally downloaded Edgy Eft and put it on DVD. Said he's got a computer at home that he will put it on as soon as he can. As usual I gave him my word on answering any questions to help him if he has any problems.

Again this is just an example of how to find your perfect target. He was a perfect target for me because I know he is open to trying technology, especially new and free technology. People like Big Scary are the type to pimp Ubuntu to. Now if he stays with Ubuntu or Linux in general I don't know. I hope he does. I want him to. Yet half the battle is over now that he is trying it. Only time will tell if he does stay with it.
