Get Deb

Hello everyone. Sorry it has taken so long to write another blog. I was awfully busy through the last part of April into the beginning part of May, and then after that I took a week off to rest....well no to find a job. I am now jobless and no longer work for the University I was working for. They cut some of the programs for the foreign students learning English. My part was one of them, but that is alright. I'm optimistic to getting a new job somewhat soon.

Anyway, during my days a friend has introduced me to a website. This website is called Get Deb. This site is pretty amazing, and If you look you will see I linked to it already. I found some interesting programs here. They are all Debian files which is pretty nice. It makes it easy for them to install. All you have to do is just double click on them after you download them and they work with ease just like any .exe file in Windows

It's a small website so far. It's not so big, but it does seem they are looking for developers, and people to sponsor them. So I think this is a great thing. I'd hand over some money if I had a job... so I can't do much for them right now. I'm also not a developer, yet I am planning on taking a Unix Scripting class this next semester. So it should be interesting to see what I can get from the class.

Anyway, I suggest that if you are having problems installing a program from anywhere, or finding a program. Look through here. You'd be surprised what you can find so far.
